David E Smelts

David Smelts , age 71 died at Altercare in Newark, Ohio after a long battle with Kidney Disease . David is preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by brother Jeff Julian and sisters Vicki Burrows and Cynthia Phillips along with several nieces and nephews that he loved. David worked at many fairs through out his life. His favorite fair was The Hartford Fair “The BIGGEST Little Fair in the world “ . David loved the fair life, working on bikes and going 4 wheeling and spending time with his family. His face would light up as he re-told stories of things he had done and people he met along the way . A special Thank you to Amanda Brehm (David’s caseworker) for her help with David throughout the years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service where David will be buried alongside his mother Thelma Moose, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 3 PM; Kirkersville Cemetery . 499 E. Main Street Kirkersville, Ohio
