David Allen Vaughn

David Allen Vaughn, 78, passed away at his residence on February 3, 2023. He was born in Newark, Ohio on February 11, 1944 to the late Benjamin Vaughn and Chloe (Turner) Vaughn. Prior to retirement, he was a construction foreman with Irby Construction for over 40 years. He enjoyed playing bingo, boating, fishing, reading, hunting and working on cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Patricia D. Daniels and Roger (Eileen) Vest; siblings, Margaret Critchfield, Coral Sue Boswell, Judy Moore and Tom (Vicky) Vaughn; grandchildren, J.P. Sellars, Jakeb Anderson, Grace Vest and Joyce Vest; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In additional to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Vaughn; sisters, Katie Griffin and Etta Bourne; brothers, Robert Vaughn and Earl “Junior” Vaughn.
