Dean Richard Hoffer

Dean Richard Hoffer, 53, of Newark, passed away on March 28, 2024, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born in Newark, Ohio on April 4, 1970 to the late Richard L. Hoffer and Ricky M. (Welker) Widebrook, who survives. Dean enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ricky M. and Wesley Widebrook; three brothers, Donald (Angel) Hoffer, Mark Widebrook and Robin Widebrook; sister, Karen Strawn; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Zeraline Hoffer. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dean to Hospice of Central Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
