Deanna Lee Diehl

Deanna Lee "Dee" Diehl, age 63, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Deanna was born July 19, 1960 in Newark, Ohio to the late William “Bill” and Bonnie (Gartner) Diehl. A 1978 graduate of Heath High School, Deanna graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in early childhood education. She was a teacher with Leads Head Start. Deanna was a member of the Claylick Bow Hunters Club and was a Clover Bud teacher with the Panther Country 4-H Club. She enjoyed swimming scrapbooking, and crafts. Deanna was a volunteer firefighter for 10 years with the Toboso Fire Department.

She is survived by her son, Seth Diehl; her daughter, Sophia Diehl; sisters, Gina Diehl and Cheri Caudell; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will observe a private gathering.
