Deborah "Debbie" Lee Walker

A funeral service celebrating the life of Deborah Lee “Debbie” Walker, 69 of Columbus, will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Mark Falls officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. The visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Thursday, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Debbie was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 20, 1951 to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Dato) Stafford. She passed away at the Kobacker on September 11, 2021. Debbie was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed traveling, baking, reading, watching movies and spending time with family. Survivors include her children, Christopher P. Walker and Jennifer (Kyle) Wood; granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth Wood; brothers and sisters, Karen (Quentin) Lewis, Teresa (Tom) Adell, Benjamin (Kathy) Stafford and Donald (Cristy) Stafford; step-mother, Cookie Stafford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-father, Donald Searles; and former husband, James A. Walker. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Debbie to the ALS Association, Central Ohio Chapter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
