Deborah Kem Owens

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Deborah Kem Owens, age 63, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hebron home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th Street, Hebron, with Pastor Irene Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.Deborah was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 2, 1952 to the late Douglas Blair and Loretta (Clark) Carroll. She passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on December 16, 2015.Deborah was an avid member of the Old County Church, where she was active with the ladies group and the food pantry. She enjoyed playing bingo and gambling at Wheeling Downs. Deborah had an uplifting personality and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth Owens, whom she married September 18, 1970; children, Kenneth (Nicole) Owens, Brandon (Shannon) Owens, Stacey Owens, and Cory Owens; and grandchildren, Kenneth Owens, Jackson Owens, Barron Owens, Trevor Owens, Codie Bussey, Brody Bussey and Dalton Bussey.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Deborah to the American Kidney Fund.
