Deborah Ann Marple

A graveside service celebrating the life of Deborah Ann Marple, 69 of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Newark Memorial Gardens mausoleum, with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Deborah was born in Newark, Ohio on May 8, 1953 to the late Lewis and Gladys (Shillingburg) Van Ostran. She passed away on December 21, 2022 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Newark. Deborah enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends, and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Amanda Marple; brother and sister-in-law, James and Kathy Van Ostran; grandson, Mike Marple; close friend, Laurie Marple; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Deborah to the American Cancer Society or to the National Autism Association.
