Debra Harding

A service celebrating the life of Debra Harding, age 65, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Richard Rothemich officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street in Kirkersville. Burial will take place at Community Gardens Cemetery in Somerset. The Kirkersville United Methodist Church, located at 180 E. Main Street in Kirkersville, will provide a luncheon following the committal service. Debra was born February 5, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late Harry and Dorcus (Bazler) Staiger. She passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Debbie owned and operated Debbies Flowers and Gifts in Kirkersville for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved to entertain, inviting her many friends and family to holiday parties. She is survived by her children: Melissa (Toby) Miller and Shane Mattingly; her brothers: Gary (Theo) Jones and Donald Staiger. Her grandchildren: Andrea, Miranda, Rachelle, and Rylee; her great-grandchildren: Jayden and Janie. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Ryan and her dog, Cory. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Kirkersville is honored to care for the Harding family.
