Debra A. Rymer

Debra A. Rymer, age 71, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Arlington Care Center. She was born May 24, 1953 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Cody Deem, Jr. and the late Leona (Drainer) Deem.

Debra was employed with Newark Resident Homes as a caregiver. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching TV.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcie (Dan) Davis of Newark; grandchildren, Nicholas Davis and Kayla Davis; great-grandchildren, Maddix, Karson, Camden, and Madelynn; brothers, William (Pam) Deem and James Deem, all of Shinnston, West Virginia; three nieces and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rymer, on February 2, 2002; and by her daughter, Tammy Bettger.

The family will observe a private gathering. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Wilson Cemetery.
