Delores E. Touvell

Delores E. Touvell, age 92, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Arlington Care Center. Delores was born February 23, 1926 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Carl and Jessie (Poling) Ogle.

Delores was formerly employed with Pharis Tire and Rubber, the Newark Telephone Company as a long distance operator for ten years and Newark Public Schools in the food program for ten years. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Pound; special niece, Lucinda Prince, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Touvell; sisters, Pattie Prince, Rosalia Downs, Rena Norton and Donna Andrews; brothers, Nial Ogle, Carl Wayne Ogle and Billy Wendel Ogle.

Private inurnment will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio or a charity of one’s choice.
