Denise A. Engle

Denise A. Engle, age 66, of Newark, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. Denise was born July 14, 1953 in Eloise, Michigan to the late Joseph Lawrence and Marion Margaret (Vereecks) Compeau.

Denise was a homemaker and enjoyed coloring, bottle painting, listening to books on tape and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Carl and Ginny Morgan and Dustin Westfall, all of Newark; grandchildren, Carlyn Morgan, Noel McClain (Brandon Ogilvie), Raven Geis (Ian Hunsinger) and Jonathan McClain; great-granddaughter, Luna Ogilvie; nephew, Sammy Hearn and niece, Dori Hearn, both of Kentucky; the Heck family of Missouri; the Morgan family of Tennessee; and best friend, Greg Brown of Newark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Hearn; and a niece, Patty Hearn.

At her request, no service will be observed.
