Dennis "Hillbill" Lee Roberts

A visitation celebrating the life of Dennis “Hillbill” Roberts, 56, of Newark, will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Hillbill was born in Moundsville, West Virginia on June 3, 1964 to the late Ernest L. and Phyllis M. (Rodgers) Roberts. He passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on May 15, 2021. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver with HLC Trucking in West Virginia for 15 years. Hillbill was a motorcycle enthusiast, where he was a retired member of the Breed Motorcycle Club; and a retired member of the Boars Motorcycle Club; and was a former member of the IBA Motorcycle Organization. He enjoyed working on motorcycles, trucks and cars, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends. Survivors include his significant other, Judy M. Heskett; children, Darrah Wade, Jacob Roberts, April (Shannon) Sunkle and Billy Kinser; stepj-son, Chad Wright; brother, Robert “Rusty” Roberts; grandchildren, Seth, Lexi, Haylie, Olivia, Cayden, Chase, Brianna and Aiden; great grandson, Chandler; niece, Susan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheyanne.
