Dennis Eugene Price

Dennis Eugene Price, age 61, of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his home. Dennis was born July 25, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio.

Dennis was a 1976 graduate of Groveport Madison High School and received an associate degree from Columbus State University. Over the years he was employed with Lazarus, Dr. Pepper/Snapple, and owned S&S Tobacco Co. at Broad and Taylor in Reynoldsburg, from which he retired in 2018.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Georganne (Fisher) Price of Pataskala; brother, John A. Price, Sr. of Zanesville; nephew, John A. Price, Jr. of Pataskala; aunts, Jean Boring, Lillian Winnenberg, Martha Briggs, Patricia Bowers and Mildred Palmer; and numerous cousins from the Fisher, Post, and Price families.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Price, in 2008; and by an aunt, Roberta Fisher Sawyer; and two uncles, Fred Fisher, Jr. and Vernon Fisher.

The family will have a memorial gathering in the spring at Burr Oak Lodge in Glouster. Private inurnment will take place in New Lexington Cemetery where Dennis will be laid to rest next to his father.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or to a local food pantry of one’s choice.
