Diana C. Brown

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Diana C. Brown, 68, of Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Floyd Stolzenburg as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where Diana will be buried next to her husband, Robert Brown.Diana was born May 10, 1947 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Fred and Imogene (Bauman) Haddad. She was a graduate of Columbus South H.S., class of 1965, and served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. She loved all kinds of animals, was an accomplished horse barrel racer and competitive pool player.She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Brown of Columbus; sister, Lorraine Stier and her husband Lenny of Grove City; uncle, Owen Ramsey of Pataskala;cousins Bruce, Cindy, Vicky, Butch and Nancy; along with many nieces, nephews and friends throughout the area.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.Friends may call on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorials be directed to the Capital Area Humane Society to help abused and abandoned animals.
