Diane Texter Callahan left this world on March 16, 2018, on a sunny, early spring day. With her were her children, Lynda, Debra, and Bill. She brought energy, humor, care, and love to all of our lives. We were so lucky to have her for all of these years. Dinny was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1932. She graduated from Central High and attended Colorado University. She and her family moved to Dublin, Ohio in 1961. Seventeen years ago she lost the love of her life, her husband, Bill Callahan.Bill loved to sail and she was his favorite first mate. They sailed on Lake Erie and in the Florida Keys. Dinny was blessed with a green thumb and took great pride in her gardens, especially her rose garden. Throughout her life she did volunteer work and enthusiastically supported her husband and children in all their pursuits. In addition to her children, she will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Meghan Voss, Jesse Voss and Sabrina Webster; and great-grandchildren, Callahan, Russell, Deanna, and Brooklyn. Our world is better because of her and less without her.
