Diane Leigh Perkins

Diane Leigh Perkins, age 64, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born August 23, 1957 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Jack Walker and the late Betty (Frye) Walker Manley. Diane was a homemaker. She loved horses and collecting Indian and Oriental items. She enjoyed listening to music and volunteering with the Salvation Army. Diane was an excellent cook and was known for her delicious chocolate cake and her pies. She is survived by four children, Aaron (Amber) Piper of Newark, Mikilia Ankrum of Newark, Zacharie Perkins of California and Joshua Lindsey of Missouri; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and her twin sister, Deborah (Gregory) Grewe of Union, Kentucky. At her request, there will be no service observed. Memorial contributions in Diane’s name may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
