Dolores Ann Mckee

A funeral service celebrating the life of Dolores Ann McKee, 84, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Greg Rosser officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Dolores was born in New Boston, Ohio on February 12, 1934 to the late Albert and Minnie (Morgan) Sorrell. She passed away at her residence on May 13, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Dolores was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the American Legion Post # 85 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, dancing, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Pam (Mike) Mautz and Mike (Hyunjung) Luther; siblings, Lorene (Bernard) Holton, Robert (Carolyn) Sorrell and Connie (Bill) Streeter; grandchildren, Anthony (Jessica) Mautz, Jason Mautz, Ryan Luther, Scott (Emily) Luther and Carissa Luther; great grandchildren, Madden, Maggie, Addison, Dylan and Caleb; special friend, Barb Little; loving cat, Babe; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McKee; and siblings, Frank Sorrell, Ralph Sorrell and Donna Gail.
