Dolores A. Curnutte

A funeral service celebrating the life of Dolores A. Curnette, 83, of Hebron, formerly of Thornville, will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with burial to follow in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.
Dolores died suddenly Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Newark. She was born June 11, 1935, in Columbus, the daughter of Robert E. and Ardath (Koher) Deshler. She was a graduate of New Lexington High School, class of 1953, where she was a cheerleader and played the bass drum in the marching band. She spent 45 years as a secretary and she loved working at the Ringling Musuem in Sarasota, Florida.
She is survived by her loving family: daughters Diane Click and Constance (Dave) Hoppel, grandchildren Joshua Graham, Dean (Heather) Graham, Nicholas (Clairissa) Graham, Robert (Chastity) Graham, Dustin Click, Aaron (Amanda) Hoppel and Jason Hoppel; great-grandchildren; her sister Alpha Black and nephew Todd and Michelle Black; cousin Leah (Koher) Bisciotti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Ramsell and her second husband Dean Curnette; and her step-father Alva Howerth.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 56 South Main St. in Thornville.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to Arthritis Foundation of America. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
