A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald A. Don Brown, age 73, of Hebron, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. A graveside service will be held at Dew Cemetery near Glouster, Ohio at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street, Kirkersville.Don was born September 28, 1942 in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Dwight A. and Evelyn E. (Glosser) Brown. He passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Don retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas where he had been employed for 35 years. He loved NASCAR, hunting and golfing.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet A. (Watkins) Brown, whom he married February 6, 1964; two sons, Donald A. (Lori) Brown, Jr. of Hebron and Robert A. (Teresa) Brown of Zanesville; a daughter, Robin A. (Jim) Kaid of Thurston; grandchildren, Amy Brown (Clark Torbett), Ashley Brown, Cameron Brown (Lauren Smith), Ruth Brown, Diana Brown, Kyle (Kim) Kaid, Amanda Gullett (Justin Moore), Justin Kaid, Billy Hess and Savannah Wharff; four great-grandchildren, Layla, Riley, Brantley and Kya; sister, Mary (Ed) Cowles of Nashport; aunt, Betty Fells of Zanesville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Sidney Holland; and his grandparents, Phillip and Gertrude Brown.The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab of Newark and Hospice of Central Ohio for their excellent care.Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
