Donald Burton Brown, Jr.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald Burton Brown, Jr., 62, of New Lexington, Ohio, will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Corbin Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Donald was born in Newark, Ohio on July 7, 1962 to the late Donald Burton Sr. and Peggy I. (Stoots) Brown. He passed away at Mount Aloysius in New Lexington, Ohio on December 27, 2024. Donald worked at LICCO for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed bowling, taking car rides and listening to country music, especially Johnny Cash. Donald loved to socialize and was affectionately known to others as “Uncle Donnie”. Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheri and Ralph Gutridge, and Tammy and Robert Schooler, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Shanna), Michael, Ashley (Ryan), Tiffany (Austin), Aliyah, Olivia and Robert; great nieces and nephews, Logan, Kashton, Gunner, Gideon, Katy, Bri and Zane; stepmother, Darlene Brown; and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great niece, Journey.
