Donald Irwin Budnick

Donald I. Budnick, 94, of Millersport, passed February 8, 2022, at his home. He was born in Columbus, on January 26, 1928, son of Walter and Georgia (Norman) Budnick. Graduate of Kirkersville H.S., Class of 1945, retired after 38 years at Rockwell/ North American Aviation, Columbus as an airplane builder. He raised his family of four children as a single dad, beginning at age 28; and all three of his sons served honorably in the US Armed Forces.

Long time member of the Millersport Village Council. He enjoyed watching sports and was an OSU Buckeye, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns fan.

Survived by his sons Steven and Daniel; brother Carl “Johnny” Budnick; stepdaughter Brenda Bellis; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three wives, his daughter Diana Grayson, his son Dana Budnick and his sister Willa Keller.
