Donald Eugene Kent

Donald Eugene Kent, age 69, of Newark, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Donald was born June 28, 1949 in Alexandria, Ohio.

Donald was a veteran of the United States Army during Vietnam and had been a truck driver. He was a member of the Newark Eagles.

Surviving are four children, Shane L. Kent, Sam Kent and Tonya Kent, all of Georgia and Timothy A. Kent of Newark; several grandchildren; brother, Bill (Bonnie) Kent of Westerville; sister, Donna Jo Kent of Massachusetts; and lifelong friends, Mary and Fred Davis and their children, Fred, Jr., Robin and Mark, all of Newark.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Kent.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria.
