Donald Lee Rarick

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald Lee Rarick, age 87, of Powell, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Gary Brose officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville. Donald was born September 19, 1930 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Emmitt and Wanda (Zinn) Rarick). He passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Don was a very hardworking individual and enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes. He spent many happy hours with his beloved dogs, Dillon, Lilly and Rosie. He is survived by six children, David (Suzy) Rarick of Newark, Debra Ballenger of North Port, Florida, Russell Harper of Hebron, Robert (Michaelene) Harper of Coshocton, Kathy (John) Scott of Powell and Sarah (Andrew) Loudermilk of Pataskala; 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Warren (Cynthia) Rarick of Heath; sisters, Linda Passalacqua of Oregon and Kaye (Joe) Busta of Hiram; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angel Lee Rarick.
