Donald Eugene Scott

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donald Eugene Scott, 68, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Sowards officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Donald was born at Edwards Gary Air Force Base in San Marcos, Texas on January 23, 1956 to the late Gary Scott and Maxine (Hall) Scott, who survives. He passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on June 19, 2024. Prior to retirement, Donald worked as a shipping clerk at Owens Corning Fiberglas for over 30 years. He was a prior member of the GMP Local 244. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, motorcycling, fishing, traveling, mowing lawns and watching western movies, especially the Rifleman. Donald loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by everyone that knew him. In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving significant other, Debbie Eisenbach; children, Melia A. (Jason) Richards, Gary R. (Jamy) Scott, Karlos Faller and Dena Wiegand; siblings, Nancy (Frank) Gostrue, Gary “Dink” Scott, Teresa (Randy) Fraunfelter, Trina Annarino and Lori (Scott) Shepard; grandchildren, Patty Whitehouse, Zach Scott, Hannah Scott, Allison Theos, Dutch Elliott, Wesley Elliott, Sam Elliott, Dustin Faller, Devan Faller, Dylan Faller and Dane Faller; great grandchildren, Gabriel Whitehouse, Lala Elliott and Max Elliott; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donald to the Licking County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
