Donald Steinmetz

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Donald Steinmetz, 80, of Pataskala, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will follow in the Pataskala Cemetery.Donald passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born October 15, 1933, in Athens, Ohio, the son of the late Lewis and Lelia (Cheadle) Steinmetz. Donald owned and operated Steinmetz Amusement Rides for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann (Matthewson); grandchildren, Gina and D.J.; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great, great; sister, Delores (Fred) Perry; friend, Janet Jenkins.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Steinmetz; brothers and sisters.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 till time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E.
