Donald Russell Van Buren

Graveside services, celebrating the life of Donald Russell Van Buren, 70, of Kirkersville, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday August 26, 2022, in the Kirkersville Cemetery with full military honors by the Licking Co Veterans Alliance. Men, please no neckties! Don’s reveille began on October 24, 1951, and his taps on August 24, 2022. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S. class of 1969, then served 20 years in the US Navy. He then worked for the Henry Schein company for 23 years. Don loved OSU Football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving family: his mother Imogene (Stewart) Van Buren, his son Jason Van Buren, his daughter Virginia (Victor) Leon and their girls Ariela and Iris; his sisters Donna, Dianna and Debra Van Buren; nephew Dustin Van Buren and niece Shalala Ohlman. The family requests that memorial contributions in his memory be directed to Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Drive SW, Heath, Ohio 43056.
