Donna Jean Fisher

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donna Jean Fisher, 85, of Westerville, will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, two hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Donna was born in Muskingum County on March 5, 1939 to the late Walter W. and Gertrude L. (Baker) Corbett, and was raised and lived in White Cottage for many years. She passed away at the Kobacker House in Columbus on November 14, 2024. Donna was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a volunteer and the American Cancer Society and was also very active with the PTA when her children were in school. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry L. (Jason L. Williams) Shomo Fisher; son, James L. (Kathy) Fisher II; grandchildren, Elizabeth Shomo, Timothy Shomo. Victoria Shomo, and Hannah Fisher; great grandchildren, Timothy Sargent, Lillian Sargent, Laurance Ransom, Jr. and Alexander Hollanback; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Fisher I; and a sister, Joan Drumm. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donna to the Kobacker House.
