Donna Jeanette Gonzalez

A funeral service celebrating the life of Donna Jeanette Gonzalez, 47, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Father Bill Hritsko officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, one hour prior to the funeral service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Donna was born in San Diego, California on September 10, 1974 to Delia (Milligan) Mikell. She passed away at Mt. Carmel East on May 1, 2022. Donna was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed working at the Haunted Hoochie, was a huge music festival fan, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Delia and Jerry Mikell; husband, David Shorey; children, Zackary M. (Jordan Miller) Dunlap and Martikka (Alan) Munoz; grandchildren, Cayden, Dallas, Kingsley, Elijah, Sophia, Xiomara, Roman, Paisley and Oliver; step-children, Ryan, Nick, Tabitha and Riley; and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrick N. Dunlap; and maternal grandparents, David and Donna Milligan.
