Donna Marie Paulsen

Graveside funeral services, celebrating the life of Donna Marie Miller Paulsen, 72 of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband John.

Donna passed away early Sunday, November 19, 2023, in Newark. She was born June 16, 1951, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Arthur Herbert and Roberta May (Sibert) Miller.  She married John Alvin Paulsen on July 17, 1970, in Columbus.

Donna worked for Meijer’s on Hamilton Road in Columbus and was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping and loved all animals, including her special pets Luke and Sammy.

She is survived by her loving family: her son Shawn (Kady) Paulsen of Newark, her grandchildren Ashley, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Jayci, Kaya and Kali; her great grandchildren: Macaela, Azaraya, Isabella, Oliver, Gabryella, Mya, John, Avery, Briar and Opal; her brother Allen Miller and her sister Freida Miller and several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Waverly Strawser.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son John Eric Paulsen, and her brothers Craig and Boyd Miller.

Honoring Donna’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Memorial Contributions in her memory may be directed to the Salvation Army in Newark.
