Diana Lynn Stickle

A funeral service celebrating the life of Diana Lynn Stickle, age 66, of Newark, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Clifford Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Diana was born September 5, 1957 in Newark, Ohio to the late Earl and Caroline (Butler) Kidd. She passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Ohio’s Hospice of Central Ohio).

Diana was employed by Jerry’s Fabrics in Newark for many years. She enjoyed sewing, decorating for Christmas, and her many pets.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Eugene Stickle, whom she married July 6, 1975; daughter, Yolanda Stickle (Walter Zang) of Newark; grandchildren, Alex and Talia; brother, Douglas Kidd; sister, Lucinda (Kevin) Rine; a special friend who was like a daughter to her, Jessica Riendeau; and special friends, Lynn Cable and Deb Soter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Kidd.
