Doris Peterman

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Doris L Peterman, 90, of Pataskala, a former Muskingum County resident, will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Trinity Full Gospel Church, 535 Munson Avenue, Zanesville with Brother Terry Rowland as celebrant. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery. Doris died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Columbus following an extended illness. She was born in Hopewell, on February 13, 1925, the daughter of the late John B. McCance and Stella (Peters) Myers. She worked as a server, in several different area restaurants including Jai Lai and The Granville Inn. She loved cooking for her family. She is survived by her loving family: daughter Linda (Bruce) Long of Millersport, step-sons Dirk, Dan and Dean Peterman, grandchildren Amy Theriot, Chris Morrow, Amber (Ryan) Hogue, Heather (Shawn) Acheson, Charise Shaffer, Darcey, Blake, Grant, Mark and Chris Peterman; 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; brother Bob McCance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Fred Reed and Richard Peterman, and her daughter Beverly Morrow. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 2-5:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, and again on Monday from 12:00 Noon until time of the funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Kidney Foundation in her memory.
