A funeral service, celebrating the life of Dorothy Jean (Estep) Willis, 83, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 am, in the Hebron Chapel of The HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Jacob Faulk officiating. Burial will follow in Millersport Cemetery. Dorothy died Sunday afternoon, December 22, 2013 at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Cabin Creek WV, on August 20, 1930, the daughter of the late Gilbert E. and Edna M. (Combs) Estep. A lifelong homemaker, Dorothy loved quilting, Crocheting, Reading and watching the Cooking Channel. She is survived by her loving family: children, Roger (Peggy) Willis, Debbie (Wayman) Angle, Nancy (Eddie) Evans, Michael Willis, Terri (Tony) Noblick; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and her two sisters Betty Tackett and Kay McCubbin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Irwin Willis who passed away on November 11, 2009, and her siblings Helen Heinz, Lou Shultz, Richard Estep, Bill Estep, sons Gary Wayne and Ronald Douglas Willis, granddaughter Amy Elaine Willis, and her long-time friend Dorothy Fankhauser. Friends may call on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the Hebron home of The HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th Street in Hebron.
