Doyle E. Wright

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Doyle Wright, age 79 of Hebron, will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville with Pastor Ed Harding officiating.Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm.Doyle was born in Junction City, Ohio on June 22, 1935 to the late George and Mary Ethel (Randolph) Wright.He passed away at Mt. Carmel East on June 28, 2014, while surrounded by family.Doyle proudly served his country in the United States Army.Prior to retirement, he worked for Rockwell International for over 30 years.He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Mary A. (Mattis) Wright, whom he married on June 28, 1958; son, David E.Wright of Hollywood, FL;daughter, Teresa A. (Bob) Gilbert of Hebron; sister, Evelyn (Ed) Harding of Shawnee, Ohio; grandchildren, Bethany Price of Thornville, Erin Gilbert of Hebron and Mary Gilbert of Hebron; great grandchildren, Autumn and Kenlie; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Paul Wright.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Doyle to Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Doyle family.
