Drake Michael Kalb

A memorial visitation, celebrating the life of Drake Michael Kalb, 29, of Hebron, will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hebron New Life Church, 925 West Main Street, Hebron. Drake passed away at his residence on May 9, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 12, 1994 to Drake Jared Kalb and Leanne Steiff. Drake was a finishing carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local 200. He was an avid disc golfer and was a member of the Ohio Players Disc Golf Club. He enjoyed listening to music and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians/Guardian, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Michigan Wolverines. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his mother, Leanne Steiff; father, Drake Jared (Christy) Kalb; sister, Ashley Kalb; brother, Zachary Kalb; maternal grandparents, Lynda Davidson and Michael (Kitson) Steiff; paternal grandmother, Debbie Kalb; step grandmother, Linda Hargraves; his loving dog, Zea; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Drake Kalb; and maternal great grandparents, Jeannette and Robert Klingensmith. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to a Go Fund Me account by visiting https://gofund.me/776d2a66, so that a couple of trees can be planted in his memory at his favorite disc golf courses.
