E. Louise Rhea

(Eva) Louise Rhea , 97, of Hebron, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark Ohio. Louise was born June 7, 1927 in Millersport, Ohio to the late Raymond and Anita (McCall) Miller. Louise was married to Carl Rhea for 49 years, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving daughter Carolyn Rhea, Hebron, Ohio and nieces and nephews, Susan (Marlowe) Witt, Spencer (Kayce) Witt, Avery Witt, and Molly (Brian) Dickmann, Blake (Alexis), Drew (Maddie), Erik and Lindsey Sparks and Evan. Louise enjoyed a long and vibrant life and shared her beautiful smile with everyone. She was loved and cherished by her family and so many friends. Louise will be greatly missed.

Louise enjoyed a long career at Midland Mutual Life Insurance. She went on to live a very full life as a wedding cake decorator with long-time friend Rose, avid golfer, and very loyal Ohio State Buckeye fan where she enjoyed celebrating with her fellow Buckeye Lake Eagle members. She followed Lakewood sports. Member of Amvets post 51, Thornville Moose, Buckeye Lake Eagles, Auxiliary American Legion, Hebron and VFW.

Louise is survived by her daughter Carolyn Rhea of Hebron, Ohio.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, Ohio. Visitation will be held prior to services from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Where funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Monday. Interment will follow at the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery in Thornville. Memorials can be directed to Lakewood Athletic Boosters or charity of the donor’s choice.
