Eddie Albert Bowers

Memorial Services, celebrating the life of Eddie Albert Bowers, 90, of Hebron, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Brian Stout, Michael Thielen and Ron Keller as celebrants. Inurnment will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., to be held in the funeral home, 285 East Main St. In Kirkersville.

Eddie passed on September 26, 2022, following an extended illness. He was born in Brownsville on August 23, 1932, the son of the late Ernest and Anna Marie (Snider) Bowers. Eddie served honorably in the US (United States) Army, served many years with the Kirkersville Fire Department, was a mail carrier for many years and worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation, from which he retired, then worked at H.E.B Groceries, San Marcos, Texas.

He was an active member of the Millersport Lions Club and promoter of the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Atwell) Bowers, his brothers Bob Bowers, and Roy Bowers, and his sisters Velma Nethers and Helen Nauer.

He is survived by his loving family: brother Billy (Ruby) Bowers and sister Joyce Williams; daughters Mallory (Mike) Stilwell of Baltimore; Kayleen (Jim) Bowers-Vest of Seguin, Texas; grandchildren Greg Bowers-Vest, Kyle (Jade) Bowers-Vest; Matt (Randi) Stilwell; Mindy Stilwell Micah (Jade Blevins) Stilwell; great grandchildren Sabrina ( Michael ) Williamson, Abby Taylor (Matthew Thompson), Eryn, Keira and Claudia Stilwell, Brayden Naim; great-great grandchildren Beau Williamson, Eli Thompson.
