Edna F. Griffith

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Edna F. Griffith, age 82, of Heath, will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Bill Hayes officiating.Edna was born in Londonderry, Ohio on September 17, 1933 to the late George and Monnie (Hay) Vanover. She passed away on January 9, 2015 at her residence, while surrounded by her loving family.Prior to retirement, Edna was a check processor with Huntington Bank for many years. She attended Hillview Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and was known as mom mom.Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Walter Griffith, whom she married February 2, 1962; two sons, Ralph (Tiffany) Morrison and John (Arretta) Griffith; grandchildren, Amy Morrison, Holly (Troy) Thompson, Tara Morrison, Sarah Griffith, Hannah Griffith, Will Griffith, and Lainey Griffith; great grandchildren, Misty Garrett, John Jones, Steven Champion, Reece Champion, Trey Champion, Lauren Champion and Lexi Thompson; great great grandchildren, Lillian Mulpas and Logan Jones.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Rob Griffith; daughter, Marlene Morrison; brother, Ray Vanover; and sister, Eva Chester.Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville, on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Edna and her family.
