A memorial visitation, celebrating the life of Edward Aloysius Manders, 70, of Centerburg, will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017, starting at 3:00 p.m. at the home of his daughter Tansy Manders, 9797 York Road S.W. in Pataskala. Inurnment will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Kirkersville Cemetery. Edward died Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Westerville, following a brief illness. He was born in Riverdale, Maryland, on December 9, 1947, the son of the late Edward A. Manders and Rosalyn May (Davis) Corso, and his step-father John C Corso, Jr. He grew up in the Washington D.C. area. He retired after many years as a flooring contractor. He loved learning and was an avid reader and writer. He possessed a deep Christian faith. He wanted to be remembered and is remembered by his family asOne who loved with the Love of God. He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Lynda Sharron Manders, whom he married on June 15, 1963, his five children Eddie Joe (Brenda) Manders of Marengo, Tansy Ann Manders of Pataskala, John Christopher (Meghan) Manders of Sugar Grove, Christinia Lyn (Jack) Scott of Centerburg and David Aloysius Manders; his 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and his sister Rose Ann; along with his faithful feline companion: Curious. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jackie and Jimmy and his sisters Judy, Margaret and Sally.
