A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Edward Lee Nelson, Jr., age 37 of Newark, will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Burial will be held in Kirkersville Cemetery.Edward was born in Newark, Ohio on December 4, 1976 to Edward Lee Nelson, Sr. of Newark and the late Debra Hurd. He passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on July 25, 2014.Edward enjoyed watching WWF and listening to country music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother, Christopher Michael (Kelly) Nelson of Tiffin.In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one sister, Amy Nelson.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Nelson family.
