Elizabeth "Betty" Amos

A graveside service, for Elizabeth Betty L. Amos, age 88, of Heath, will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Father Jonathan Wilson officiating.Betty was born in Newark, Ohio on December 27, 1925 to the late Harry O. and Bessie M. (Minnick) Hardesty. She passed away on June 16, 2014 at Arlington Care Center.Betty was a member of Church of the Blessed Sacrament, and was a volunteer at Blessed Sacrament School for many years. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.Survivors include her daughter and fianc, Barbara Dennis and Mitch Stockdale of Newark; and grandchildren, Shane Dennis and Beth Dennis of Newark.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Amos; sister, Della Bowman; and two brothers, Charles and Nelson Hardesty.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 378 E.
