A graveside funeral service celebrating the life of Elizabeth J. Hunley, 46, of Newark, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery with Rev. Robert E. Willmann officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing. Elizabeth was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 15, 1974 to Larry Hunley and the late Barbara (Dutcher) Hunley. She passed away at her residence on April 4, 2021. Elizabeth enjoyed listening to music, dancing, spending time outdoors and was a huge fan of Pepsi Cola. She had a loving personality and had a natural glow, which drew others to her. Most important was the time she spent with family and friends. In addition to her father, survivors include her sisters, Heather Hunley, Jonnie Grover and Julia Hunley; brothers, Larry, Rodney, Richard, Scott, Mike, Josh and Jake Hunley; 14 nieces; and 11 nephews. Also her foster family, who also loved her dearly, parents, George and Shelly Cross; sister, Kelly Crawmer; brother, Alan Cross; four nieces; one nephew; and many friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a foster sister, Ashly Crawmer. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Elizabeth to the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
