Eloise Lothes

Eloise Elizabeth Ezzie Lothes, 91, of Harbor Hills, Passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Newark, following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor Tom Myers as officiant. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.Eloise was born in Union Township, on July 27, 1923, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Seymour Hammond.She was a graduate of Hebron H.S., class of 1941, She attended Bliss Business College in Columbus, worked for the Ohio Power Company for Five years, and then for her husbands construction company for over 40 years.She marched in the first marching band at Hebron H.S., served a cheerleader for three years and was a member of Licking County Honor Society. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and traveler. She served as secretary for the Twig Board at Licking Memorial Hospital, Harbor Hills Golf Course, board member and historian for the Harbor Hills Womens Club. She was affiliated with the Fletcher Chapel and Hebron United Methodist Churches.Eloise was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in 2012, Son Stephen in 2013, along with her mother and brother Dean Hammond.She leaves son Gregory (Beth) Lothes, Daughter-in-law Judy Lothes; five grandchildren: Cindy, Chad, Aaron, Corey and Shayla; six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 285 E.
