Eric Eugene Suber

A funeral service celebrating the life of Eric Eugene Suber, age 44, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. The service will be broadcast on the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home Facebook page via Facebook Live.

Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Eric was born July 16, 1977 in Newark, Ohio. He passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Eric received his CDL from Ashland University. He was a truck driver with Adkins Disposal Service and RBS Trucking. He enjoyed music, fishing, family cookouts, playing video games, and gadgets and electronics.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Lee Suber of Newark; father, Ronald Eugene Rooks of Pataskala; daughters, Sierra (Jordan) Westerfelt and Siyanna Decker, all of Newark; grandchildren, Braiyah, Xayvien, and Julien Westerfelt; paternal grandmother, Vivian Rooks of Pataskala; sisters, Shawnda Anderson of Pataskala and Shannon Anderson of Zanesville; fiancée, Jennifer Beltagy; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Koast Eugene Suber; and maternal grandparents, Virginia and Joe Suber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
