Ericia Michelle Price

Ericia Michelle Price, 46, of Newark, passed away on March 19, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East. She was born in Newark, Ohio on June 4, 1977 to the late Michael Lynn Lanning and Cynthia Kay (Ray) Swartz, who survive. Ericia was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, taking walks, motorcycling, going to concerts, spending time outdoors and attending the Hartford Fair. Most importantly was the time she spent with her loving family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Cynthia and John Swartz; her loving partner of 25 years, Shawn D. Watson; children, Hayden Watson, Chuck Nichols, Nathan Truex, Mikey (Destiny) Truex and Rydar Price; brother, Nathan (Shandi) Lanning; sisters, Kimberly (Scott) Price, Heidi (Tom) Wills, Erica (Kenneth) Wartenbee, Tabitha (Charlie) Ansel; Sarah Swartz, Brittany (Bret) Swartz and Cierra Gaul; grandchildren, Frank Nichols, Riley Truex, Adian Truex, Landon Watson, Tanner Rine and Hensley Watson; special Cousin, Stephanie (Jason) Moran; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lanning; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Barb Lanning; maternal grandparents, and Dallas and Ruby Ray. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Ericia at a later date. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Ericia and her family.
