Erma Ackerman

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Erma Ruth Ackerman, 86, of Pataskala, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service with her Pastor, Paul Snoddy as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville-York Cemetery.Erma died Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Pataskala following an extended illness. She was born July 7, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles Jefferson and Mabel Birdie (Riffle) Bosworth.Erma enjoyed bowling and gardening, canning and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Tri-Village Church of Christ in Pataskala.She is survived by her children Robert (Julie), Roger (Brenda), David (Kathy) Ackerman, Juanita Bush and Claude Drummond, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Elvie Blakenship, and brothers Ed and Raymond Bosworth.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ackerman in 2007 and her brothers Jim, Ronald & Frank Bosworth.The family will receive friends on Monday March 2, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10:00 a.m.HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Ackerman family.
