Calling hours for Ethyl A Englehart, 94, of Kirkersville, will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6-8 pm in the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville. Honoring Ethyls wishes, private burial will occur on Friday in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Russell. Ethyl died peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home, with family members at her side. She was born in Croton, Ohio on June 3, 1919, the daughter of the late Orville R. and Effie Viola (Casner) Dill. She worked for many years as a dishwasher at the Kirkersville Elementary School, and in her early years, picked onions on the Brown farm on Swamp Road. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to quilt. She is survived by her loving family: daughters Brenda (Terry) Pearce of Pickerington, Nina (Mark) Kelly of Kirkersville, her daughter-in-law Norma Lee Englehart, 6 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1986, her son Lloyd, and her daughter Pauline Pascol, granddaughter Teresa Englehart McPeek, along with her two brothers and three sisters.In accordance with Ethyl's wishes, please do not send flowers.HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, Kirkersville, is honored to care for the Englehart Family.
