A funeral service celebrating the life of Eula May (Branham) Baughman, age 91, of Titusville, Florida, formerly of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Pastor David Branham officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may call from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.Eula was born September 26, 1924 in Giles, West Virginia to the late Willie and Cora (Artis) Branham. She passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her home in Florida.Eula joined the Cadet Nurse Corp during World War II, then enjoyed a career as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1982. She had been employed with Licking Memorial Hospital and the Licking County Health Department. Following their retirement, she and her husband then moved to Titusville, Florida. Eula was an avid supporter of the Salvation Army and loved to read.She is survived by four children, Patricia (Marvin) White of Mims, Florida, Bonnie (Lloyd) Fyffe of Hebron, Mary Scarberry of Titusville, Florida and Sue Settle of Orrville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Parish, Kathleen Kidd and Connie Barnett; brother, Dennis Branham; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Baughman, whom she married March 11, 1946 in Dawes, West Virginia and who preceded her in death in 2001. A son, Robert Baughman, passed away in 1981; and brothers, Oliver Neal, Claude and Howard are also deceased.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Alzheimers Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Eula and her family.
