Our angel is now in Heaven. Eva F. Nichols, 91, passed away at the Flint Ridge Nursing Home on October 14, 2016. Eva leaves behind her beloved children Jerry Nichols of Columbus, Connie (Dan) Lambeth of Columbus, and grandsons Brian Nichols of Newark and Steve Lambeth of Columbus. Eva will be missed by her loving sisters Jo Day of Newark, Opal Roberts of Newark, Nancy (Buck) Armentrout of Florida and Pat (Dan) Graham of Florida; and sister-in-laws Dottie Freeman of Jacksontown, Betty Detty of Newark, Neta White of Florida, and brother-in-law William (Pat) Nichols of Florida. She will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, and family members. She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 70 years, Herschel W. (Nick) Nichols and parents Ernie and Thelma Dodson. Eva retired after 25 years as a cook from Lakewood schools. She was surrounded by love from special friends Pam Sex, Brenda Sue, and the Roberts, Bobo, Rutter, and Edmister families. Evas family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Flint Ridge Nursing Home and Generation Hospice for their loving care. Calling hours will be on Monday, October 17, 2016, at the Hebron home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 N. 7th Street in Hebron from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service, conducted by Pastors Robert Beyer and Carol Kirk will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18th. Burial will follow at the Hebron Cemetery. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13.
