Evelyn E. "Evy" Whitesel

A funeral service celebrating the life of Evelyn Evy (Sirback) Whitesel, age 93, of Heath, formerly of Granville, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Robert Franklin officiating. Friends may call from 5:30-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.Evelyn was born September 8, 1924 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Pryig) Sirback. She passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Chapel Grove Inn in Heath.Evy retired from the Timken Company in Columbus with 32 years of service.She is survived by a daughter, Jean (Robert) Franklin; grandson, Scott Franklin; granddaughter, Julie (David) Moraine; five great-grandchildren, Amanda Franklin, Benjamin, Corey, Megan and Bailey Moraine; great-great-grandchildren, Savannah and Tanner Moraine; many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Whitesel; five brothers, Joseph, John, Frank, Vincent and Alvin Sirback; and four sisters, Mary Phelan, Helen Diinger, Margaret Peggy Hill (Evys twin), and Betty Bartish.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
