Evelyn J. Glotfelter

Evelyn J. Glotfelter, age 95, of Pataskala, formerly of Xenia, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at her home. She was born July 15, 1928 in Xenia, Ohio to Jesse Ellsworth and Matilda J. (Willett) Gilbert.

Evelyn was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics.

She is survived by three children, Thomas Glotfelter of Dayton, Brian Glotfelter of Waxahatchie, Texas, and Debra (Jack) Barnett of Pataskala; grandchildren, Aimee Lamon, Jeremy Helton, Alisha Blanton, and Misty Conkle; great-grandchildren, Noah Helton, Ella Blanton, and Paige Hall; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kerri Hall; great-grandson, Jase Blanton; and two sisters, Wanda Gilbert and Agnes “Lenore” Getchell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road SE, Newark, OH 43055.

At her request, no service will be observed.
